Nifty Inspirations created Klondike Battle 1.0 originally for the Apple iPhone and it was released in august 2009 in the AppStore. The game was created on the ShiVa platform. Klondike Battle is derived from the original double solitaire card game 'Russian Bank' . In the first two months about 2000 people downloaded it on the iPhone and some users contacted Nifty Inspirations to confirm the addictive nature of the game. In September 2009 Nifty Inspirations decided to take Klondike Battle 1.0 to the next level and released the game cross-platform for Windows, Macintosh and Web plugin.

In November 2009 Klondike Battle 2.0 was released, for all platforms which supported the ShiVa platform at the time, with lots of new functionality like statistics, leaderboard, challenges and much more!
